Throughout the course, students build two portfolio projects: an HTML/CSS personal portfolio website deployed live in Lesson 40, and a full PHP + MySQL web application built with instructor support across the final sessions. Both are uploaded to GitHub — giving every graduate a real, shareable portfolio that demonstrates front-end design, back-end logic, and database management skills to the world.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Write clean, structured HTML pages using proper semantic elements, forms, tables, and attributes

• Style web pages professionally using CSS — including layouts, the box model, positioning, and typography

• Build and deploy a personal portfolio website to GitHub Pages for the world to see

• Use the Bootstrap framework to create fully responsive, mobile-friendly web interfaces quickly

• Write PHP programs using variables, operators, conditionals, loops, functions, and arrays

• Design and manage relational databases using MySQL and phpMyAdmin

• Perform complete CRUD operations to create dynamic, data-driven web applications

• Implement user sessions and basic encryption for secure web app development

• Combine HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, and MySQL into a complete, working full stack web application

• Publish a professional full stack web project on GitHub as a real-world portfolio piece
